In this scene, the focus is on the gallery workers who are diligently hanging a large painting, a work of art by an artist. I chose a craft bag from a store in the mall where I bought my sneakers for this drawing, and decided to make a graphic image on it with markers and pens.
This work is from a series of my paintings on craft bags. The paper bag becomes a canvas as the drawing on the bag emerges as a form of figurative art, representing my vision of society as an artist and the social importance of artistic expression.
This painting delves into the intersection of paintings, art spaces, and the art world, highlighting the role of gallery staff and the creative process itself. It invites viewers to reflect on the power of graphic drawing as a means of communication and connection in society, bridging the gap between artist and viewer. "Montage is a compelling narrative that celebrates the art of creation in all its forms.
