La vieille femme comme elle s ' essouffle,
Elle descend l ' escalier en pantoufles.
Elle est petite et voûtée,
Sur ses jambes fatiguées.
Elle ouvre et ferme sa porte sans arrêt,
Mais qu' est-ce qu' elle fait la petite mémé ?
Cette fois elle tourne la clef,
Mais où vas-tu petite mémé ,
Tu descends la rue doucement,
Puis au carrefour allègrement,
Tu fais signe de ton gant,
A une femme et son enfant.
C' est sa fille qu' elle attend
Aussi fébrilement.
Un jour, je serai comme toi.
Toute impatiente devant chez moi,
Je n' aurai qu' à espérer;
La visite d' un être adoré.
Elle sort deux verres aux pieds torsadés,
Maintenant, elle n' est plus du tout pressée.
Elle fouille dans son buffet,
Et sort nos biscuits préférés.
Puis d' une boîte en fer qui dort,
Tout secrètement, elle sort,
Une pièce argentée,
Qu' elle tend de sa main ridée.

Petite mèmè, viens là, plus près.
Puis sur ses joues fraîches et parfumées
Qui sentent bon le muguet,
Nous lui déposons des baisers.
Quel plaisir d' être chez mémé !
Elle rayonne de bonheur,
C' est le paradis dans son cœur,
Je dors avec ma mémé,
Sa brique sous mes pieds.

I spent my childhood in Néris les Bains, a tourist town, between town and countryside.
Spotted at 9 years old, at school (La villa de Rome) and other schools for my illustrations in poetry, They wanted me to register for the Beaux Arts in Clermond Ferrand (1963). My parents did not want to because I was too young. But during my life, I saw that some had been reworked: I am my Master and I kept my freedom to create and to think.
