Cette grande âme « S’élever » est la 18ème sculpture d’une série de portrait art brut que j’ai nommé « Les grandes âmes » .Il s'agit d'âmes désincarnées devenus des messagers pour la vie terrestre, ici et maintenant.
Et cette grande âme nous invite à nous élever. Elle nous suggère de vivre en pleine conscience. Car pour être le créateur de la vie que l'on désire, il nous faut élever notre vibration. A nous d'apprendre à élever notre voie et notre voix en nous éduquant nous-même, pour chaque jour devenir une meilleure version de nous-mêmes.

C'est dans de la toile de lin brut, style de peintre que j'ai réalisé le portrait de cette grande âme n°18. J'ai également utilisé des écheveaux de fils de chanvre naturels pour créer la chevelure. À partir d'un patron unique imaginé pour cette sculpture, je découpe puis assemble les différentes parties de la tête et du buste. Puis je garnis la forme plate obtenue avec de la ouate ce coton que je m'applique à tasser très serré.
Et la phase modelage et sculpture débute. J'utilise les procédés techniques et quelques outils du tapissier et quelques outils . Par exemple les houseaux, les grosses, longues et robustes épingles m'aident à mettre en place les coupes, plis et pinces requis en maintenant les tissus. Ainsi je crée les creux et les bosses pour sculpter le volume.
.Alors, À l’aide des grandes aiguilles à double pointes, enfilées de ficelle de lin, je transperce les épaisseurs de tissu et la ouate. Afin de maintenir ces volumes, j'exerce une tension plus ou moins forte sur les ficelles. Et avec des noeuds de tapissiers je les fixe sur le lin.
.Ensuite, j’affine les volumes ainsi que le caractère particulier du portrait. Le nez, la bouche, les sourcils, le menton, le front, les oreilles le regard s’affirment pas à pas.Et pour piquer j'utilise des carrelets de diverses grosseurs ( aiguilles de tapissier arrondies). Durant cette étape, Les fils de lin sont plus ou moins fins selon la broderie réalisée. Pour la chevelure, j'ai choisi des fils de chanvre naturels, et teints enthracites.
