Teal and widgeon ducks are very attractive ducks because you cannot help noticing that they have such beautiful feather details. It is quite a spectacle to see them swim together, especial in a gorgeous pond filled with flowering water lilies. The flash of green and red from their wings or head contrasts so well with the subdued, watery hues in the back ground.
You will enjoy feelings of calm and serenity with this combination of cool colours with neutrals to bring out the richness of the ducks feathering. The embroidered ducks are specifically enhanced with great detail, even each part of their bodies show delicate patterning and with the play of light on the threads, you will experience the iridescence and sheen of their surface.
This piece is worked directly onto high grade paper which is stretched onto canvas on a wooden frame, ready for hanging. The whole area is protected with an invisible mat layering of fine UVA varnish.
