Laurence Sancho, French painter born in 1971 in Melun, self-taught since 2000.

Her journey from childhood to her young adulthood is marked by trials which makes her Laurence a very sensitive, emotional personality but with an inner strength which led her to develop her talent for painting, but also for photography.

She exercises a somewhat artistic profession: Specialist in shiatsu (a Japanese manual therapy which aims to restructure vital energy in the body).

Passionate since the age of 8 about walking in the mountains, we notice her travel albums (Nepal , Tibet, Peru..) during a painting exhibition in Nice 06.

She began painting when she saw a friend reproducing works by Van Gogh. Moreover, she names one of these works “the mystery of the ear” “The latter allowed her to make the connection with this painter with a tortuous path…

You should know that she begins by figurative style for 3 years. It was only after she got tired of reproducing the works of other artists that she moved towards abstract painting.
Her unique and original way of painting, combining her own creativity and a work of the psyche.
His paintings capture and are filled with emotions, symbolism, revealing birds, faces, everyone is free to let themselves be transported.
From the movement, colors take shape sensitivity, and touches the soul before the eye.
It is first and foremost to be felt that her works offer.

She expresses herself on large media formats, uses oil paint, acrylic, work with knives, sponges, pigments, gold leaf.

His paintings invite contemplation, sometimes in a meditative atmosphere.
She exhibits mainly in France, and what she prefers is creating paintings for individuals.

Thirst to learn, she launches into frescoes, and also revamps furniture , restores church statues.

She continues her journey by following training at the FFHY (French federation of Hata yoga, she lives what she says is 'a cosmic dance'; through postural and philosophical work.

She obtained her yoga teaching degree and teaches yoga to adults and children. She adds creativity with the organization of creative workshops.

Also her works have symbolically marked the author of a book soon to be published on the history of devotion de Sainte-Dévote (these paintings will appear there very soon).
