The artist does not try to represent the figures of the birds themselves but the movement and the ascending energy of the moment when the birds take flight as a group. For the artist this is a magical moment.
The sculpture is made of polychrome steel and wood in shades of green, blue and black. The wooden column is fire-treated to achieve the desired finish and the entire work is protected with highly weather-resistant varnish, making the sculpture suitable for outdoor spaces.
