THE RETURN.
This choreography-ritual, is work produced and directed by Adelina Reyes, with the theme of death, brought under the Rode Loper festival with the support of the foundation HEIM in the city of Amsterdam, Work which leads to a symbolic journey and transports us in time to get to a point-line, the religious ceremonies of the ancient Mexicans, practices in which he was worshiped, as well as the notion that the death was far from mean the end of life, but man to cross the threshold back to the world of the earth that created it, to melt into the wind, fire, water and the essence of the universe, thus forming a cycle. After conquering its representation was transformed with the introduction of Catholicism, to reach the modern version.
This ritual was made up of a video-visual, installation of a richly decorated altar of the dead by the artist, music and dancing, the latter elements were and still are now the celebration of death, without forgetting the pain of losing a loved one, but also and above all remains the celebration to life.
