La photographie que je pratique depuis plus de trente ans se situe entre le mot et la parole. Réponse à un paysage intérieur informulable, elle exprime ce qui ne s'écrit pas et ne peut se dire. Espace d'un regard qui décrit de qu'il ne pourra dire. Ce n'est pas un témoignage mais le désir de garder une trace de l'éblouissement ou de la surprise de ce qui nous est donné à voir.
De 1980 à 2000, j'ai travaillé pour la presse au sein du collectif Dernière Nouvelles du Front ( avec Libération, Cinématographe, L'autre journal, Zoom magazine L'humanité, Gay pied. Mon travail était orienté vers l'actualité cinématographique et culturelle.
Nous avons réalisé avec Jean-Louis Moatti des reportages en noir et blanc et couleur sur le Moscou des années 90, New york, Berlin, Bombay, Delhi.
J'ai collaboré à plusieurs campagnes de publicité (laine Woolmark, minitel).
Entre 1980 et aujourd'hui, j'ai réalisé plus d'une cinquantaine d'expositions dont deux projets collectifs "A la recherche du gant perdu avec l'association Hélium et "49" projet soutenu par l'association à retrouver sur htttp// avec qui je collabore activement aujourd'hui et dont la démarche de soutien aux artistes et aux projets collectifs et innovants me correspond en totalité.
Aprés avoir passé l'année à photographier le métro, aujourd'hui, mon regard est attiré par la vie urbaine dans les grandes capitales, la circulation des corps dans les espaces et la lumière électrique.
