常见问题

What are the advantages of leasing works of art?

  • Financial Flexibility: You can enjoy exceptional, high-value works of art without a large initial investment.
  • Tax Benefits: Receive potential tax benefits as rents can be deducted as a business expense.

How are the prices of monthly payments for leasing works of art set?

  • The costs depend on the value of the work, the duration of the leasing contract, and any services included such as installation.

Can we buy the work after the leasing period?

  • Yes, on ArtMajeur leasing contracts offer a purchase option at the end of the contract, allowing customers to acquire the work at a determined price (residual value).

How are the safety and insurance of works managed?

  • Insurance during the duration of the rental contract is the responsibility of the customer. It is therefore important to check the details of your insurance contract to be sure that your leased works are covered in the event of damage.

What are the conditions for terminating the leasing contract before its end?

  • Unless there are specific conditions, leasing contracts for works of art commit the client to payment of the entire price of the work; payments are therefore due until the end of the lease.

Vida Đuran was born on October 23, 1963, in Zagreb, Croatia. In 1970, she moved to Italy with her parents, Marčel Brajnović and Zvjezdana Hegedušić Brajnović, and from 1975 to 1977, they lived in France. There, she attended elementary school and learned Italian and French. In 1977, the family returned to Rovinj Village and Zagreb. The choice for further education was not difficult, and she enrolled in the School of Applied Arts and Design in Zagreb, majoring in textiles, where she graduated in 1982. In 1988, she became a member of ULUPUH (Association of Applied Artists of Croatia), Textile and Leather Section. Soon after, she began exhibiting in several solo and group exhibitions. Her primary interest is batik on paper and silk, and she also explores collage and various other applications and techniques.

In 1989, she moved with her family to Pula, where she became involved in the artistic life of Pula and Istria. She became a member of the HDLU (Croatian Association of Visual Artists) of Istria in 1997 and a member of the Rovinj Art Colony. During this period, she mainly presented abstract paintings on paper, canvas and textile fabric, with various interventions in color and texture, with a lyrical character of the Istrian landscape.

In recent years, she has been presenting herself to the public through various visual innovations on social media, focusing on concepts and ideas, while not abandoning her desire for beautiful, visually pleasing painting. In December 2020, she began a new project titled "I Stand, Therefore I Exist," in which she reexamines the relationship between the audience and the artist in the new post-pandemic space. Since January 2023, she has been working on a new project called "I Knit, Therefore I Exist," which is still in progress.

Since 2001, she has been living and working in the Village of Rovinj.
