vagabondages de quartier, ces voyages sont une source inépuisable d’où jaillit parfois de manière inattendue, une ligne poétique et souvent une vision alternative du réel, inspirée principalement par le cinéma, la littérature ou encore la bande dessinée.
Adolescent, je rêvais de raconter des histoires en images. Mais après une année de prépa cinéma à Paris, je me suis vite rendu compte des contraintes inhérentes à la production cinématographique, à l’investissement financier que cela représentait et donc de la potentielle perte de liberté dont je ne voulais surtout pas me défaire. J’ai finalement travaillé pendant de nombreuses années dans un milieu associatif mais aujourd’hui, en utilisant le photomontage, je peux librement raconter des histoires, ou rendre des hommages, souvent teintés de parodie. J’ai désormais mon propre atelier dans le Haut de Cagnes, l’atelier d’OliR, et j’expose régulièrement sur les marchés, ce qui me permet aussi de rencontrer beaucoup de monde et de parfois avoir la possibilité de raconter en image les histoires de ceux qui me le demandent... »
