Pour mon travail, j’utilise du papier népalais ,
il est doté d’une texture particulière et surtout de nombreuses couleurs.
S’y ajoutent l’emploi de feutres et de crayons de couleurs qui, grâce à leurs textures, me permet de réaliser les effets recherchés.
C’est donc une alchimie en action ; mon inspiration vient de photos que j’ai faites lors de voyages en Australie ainsi que de nombreuses photos d'arbres extraordinaires reçues de mes amis qui connaissent mon amour pour les vieux arbres.
Je veux exprimer les émotions qui m’habitent, je vois bien au-delà de ce que chaque photo représente ; souvent c’est un bestiaire qui surgit : on me dit que je suis atteinte de « Paréidolie », car dans chacune de mes photos j’ai vu : ici un géant, là un rocher, un homme à 2 têtes , c’était pourtant la photo d'un arbre. Ce crocodile psychédélique ? C’était un arbre flotté ….
Chaque travail que je fais, me réjouis car quand je commence je ne sais jamais où mon imagination va m'emmener!!
