Romantic colors (2004) Installation par Yanco

Self-taught artist, he was born in Messina, Italy, in the 1966. From child he perceived in the artistic expression an indispensable instrument to manifest sensations and feelings. So he begane to pick up and decode the codes that the Nature and the Matter put into his space and on his way, considering them like outlines on which to work in artistical and spiritual way. During the 1989, the very strong call from the artistic universe, created the "coincidence" that took him to work with colours and brushes. Also "casual", during the 1991, was the manufacture of a block of stone, that gave to the artist another proof of the given talent.
So he decided to put the foundations to build the observatory from which is possible to see the art and its representation. They followed a lot of years of study and comparisons characterized by the strong and ardent exigency to separate from the traditional styles and representations, choosing the more difficult way, looking for the natural and spontaneous artistic representation of the objects, seen through the eyes and the fantasy of a modern artist.

He cannot paint a canvas or carve a stone if they don't ask for it, if it doesn't take shape that original project of whom that created them, because the work would be not very interesting. Watching the suggestions and the running away images that his eyes snatch in a given moment from that white canvases and from that raw stones, one different from the other, eveyone with own energy, with an own soul. He tries to represent energies, images, poesies, stories, colours and shapes, disclosing the being that is jealously preserved into the matter, into the object.
To watch carefully his works is the only way to can see that virtual bridge that joins the matter and energy of the Universe that is into its self.
