In 1984 he graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków in the class of Antoni Hajdecki. He has twice received a scholarship from the Ministry of Culture and Art. He runs an original sculpture gallery in Kraków[1].
In 2014 he was awarded the Honoris Gratia by the mayor of Kraków, Jacek Majchrowski. In 2019 he was awarded the Bronze Medal for Merit to Culture Gloria Artis[2].
