Once there, I was amazed by the atmosphere of warmth and comfort that this small corner of the house created. Everything was so familiar that I couldn't resist the temptation to capture this atmosphere on canvas.
My grandmother, being a wise woman, immediately realized that I had the idea to create a painting in my head. She gladly agreed to help me and provided me with all the necessary items for the still life. It was a real find, because they were all old, but at the same time they retained their pristine beauty and nobility.
That's how my work on the painting “Grandma's Cellar” began, which became my favorite work. I tried to convey all the tenderness and warmth of this corner of the house, which meant so much to me. I used a warm ochre color scheme to emphasize the comfort and peace emanating from all the objects in the painting.
While working on the painting, I remembered my childhood years when I spent time with my grandmother, and those wonderful moments that left a deep mark on my heart. I was glad that I was finally able to express my love and gratitude to this place and my grandmother.
“Grandma's Cellar” has become not only my most expensive work, but also a symbol of love and gratitude to my grandmother and her house. This painting became a reminder that there are things in our lives that deserve to be immortalized on canvas. And even if it's just a still life, its importance to me cannot be overestimated.

Изначально, как наверное и многие, я рисованием не увлекался. Но, в 2013 году, когда мне было ровно десять лет, по телевизору прошла реклама художественных журналов, в комплекте с которыми шли художественные материалы, краски, кисточки, небольшой этюдник и некоторое другое. Я выпросил эти журналы у папы, думаю, дай срисую все материалы,и все. Но не тут то было- сам процесс рисования остаточно сильно затянул.
И вот, уже в 2015 году, мы с бабулей на даче, сидим и пришиваем, нитками, на кусок фанеры, кусок старого пододеяльника- типо холст. и так, без клея и грунтовки, я написал первые две картины маслом (хотя до этого немного побаивался притрагиваться к этому материалу). Потом было еще несколько работ, написанных на обычной ткани, только спустя какое-то время был приобретен грунт.
В 2017 году, когда я был семиклассником, к нам в обычную школу, пришла вести уроки изобразительного искусства преподаватель художественной студии, из местного дома культуры. Я показал ей свои работы, из-за чего она пригласила в свою студию. И вот, уже с 2017 года я хожу туда.
А в середине 10 класса, в декабре, за 2 месяца до начала пандемии, я, еще не определившись с выбором ВУЗа, думал, куда бы так поступить, чтобы было связано с рисованием. Родители и бабушка говорили поступать в ВУЗ и получать профессию, но только по желанию, главное, чтобы высшее образование. Предложений от преподавателя было тоже несколько- театральный (на художника сцены), РГПУ им. А. И. Герцена (на педагога-художника), ну или им. Репина.
В театральный не очень хотелось, а в им. Репина почти не было шансов- все таки я писал маслом без должных академических знаний, для души. А про существование рисунка, как направления, я даже и не знал. Так выбор и остановился на РГПУ им. А. И Герцена. И сейчас, уже поднабравшись небольшого опыта, уже оканчиваю 2 курс, так и не утратив любви к масляной живописи.
