To look at the art of VIFER, is like looking at a stage bursting with colour. His formats and themes are multifaceted but the design and colour are always balanced, as is the geometry throughout the various subjects that he presents to us. I am sure that we are in the presence of a painter with an artistic make-up that defines itself through the unusual personality of one who is self-taught. His experience in Angola was so strong that the hot colours remained forever etched in his psyche. To try to pigeonhole VIFER into a particular style is wrong. Art should not come with any preconceptions and VIFER believes in this adage, eschewing any kind of comment, for he has nothing to lose having the creativity that many crave.
