Hong Kong contemporary self-taught artist Vai Chi Leong transforms his hobby of drawing to a career in art. He works in the graphic design industry for over 30 years and has great experiences working with the popular graphic programs at work. His early artworks were involved acrylic painting and switched to focus on digital art in recent years.
In his latest creations, the painting style is switched to minimalism as he believes that this is a better approach of expressing ideas and imaginations freely through his artwork. Most of his current digital artwork is involved creating arts in female figures and landscape in nature. His technique applies same size of dots with different colors to form various shapes and lines. It is a simple method but unique way of exprssing his ideas to viewers.
