Huile sur toile première moitié XVIIIeme siècle représentant une femme voluptueuse accoudée sur un entablement sur lequel se trouve une coupe à la poire. Cette école italienne réalisée dans l'entourage ou par un suiveur de Carlo Cignani, peut être lue comme une allégorie du questionnement de la femme sur sa féminité et sa fertilité; la poire portant ce symbole et l'expression pensive et/ou interrogative de la jeune femme. Œuvre en bon état de conservation avec restaurations anciennes. Présenté dans son cadre ancien (XIXeme) doré à la feuille avec sculptures à motifs de feuilles, fleurs et rinceaux . Origine: collection privée familiale du centre de la France. Un certificat d'origine avec l'authentification de l'attribution de l'œuvre sera fourni lors de la vente.
Oil on canvas first half eighteenth century representing a voluptuous woman mated on a entablature on which is a cup with pear. This Italian school, created by Carlo Cignani’s entourage or by a follower, can be read as an allegory of the woman’s questioning of her femininity and fertility; the pear bearing this symbol and the young woman’s thoughtful and/or interrogative expression. Work in good condition of conservation with old restorations. Presented in its ancient frame (XIXeme) gilded with leaf sculptures with motifs of leaves, flowers and foliage . Origin: private family collection in the center of France. A certificate of origin with the authentication of the assignment of the work will be provided at the time of sale.
