I really like walking in Mežaparks, it is very beautiful here at any time of the year. When the Swedish king Gustav II Adolf camped here for his troops in the 17th century, Mežaparks was called the Royal Forest, and it received its current name, which means Forest Park in Latvian, only in 1923. Svetlana Kiisky,  Latvian painter, has exhibited her works in Russia, Italy, Latvia and other. She finds inspiration in random moments and her works are based on familiar and insignificant events that occur in everyday life. Kiisky considers association and communication to be the purpose of her art. Her artistic style is closely linked to the spirit of expressionism and is translated through oils.
