Because my house needs to be thoroughly renovated, I had to empty the storage room in the attic. There I found a drawing that I had started on somewhere in the nineties of the last century. Because my house needs to be thoroughly renovated, I had to empty the storage room in the attic. There I found a drawing that I had started on somewhere in the nineties of the last century. The permanent marker (black) had discoloured and faded in certain places due to its age. It was a linear marker drawing of two classic pillars with a fence at the bottom. The paper itself had also yellowed quite a bit. Now in 2024 I have finished this drawing with coloured pencils. Because of the renovation of my house I have temporarily moved to a street called Heemstedestraat. As an ode to this street I have incorporated a large Heemst plant in this work of art. I do not know the English name of this plant, maybe it is Marshmallow. Those who know may say so.
