Contemporary American artist with Russian heritage. MA in Fine Art
While I can work in different genres, one of my favorites is an architectural motive. I like small towns, secluded streets, and old architecture. They inspire nostalgia about previous generations, events, and cultures. My paintings have become increasingly decorative these last few years with bright, expressive colors. My other favorite topics include Aspens and Fall Alleys. Using bright colors, patterns, and textures, I create dramatic and unique pieces of textured painting made with a palette knife. The Rain and Umbrellas Series uses rain as a theme to create a romantic and cozy feeling. I would consider my style as modern decorative expressionism. I am creating vibrant European and American landscapes, beach scenes, figurative works, and still lifes that attest to a talent that appreciates the beauty around us.

Since moving to Colorado in 1997, I have worked as a freelance artist. I have been contracted to work with different galleries throughout the United States. My paintings are displayed in public and private collections throughout Russia, China, Japan, Spain, France, Germany, and the United States.
