The affirmation is not mean to deny yourself in pain and to pretend happy or joy all the time. Practical affirmation can be possible when our unhappiness and suffering are removed from the root. Our attitude toward God is same as this.
We can try to forget ourself in pain because of the idea that we should respect and fear God, but If this attitude is dominant, the heart toward God can be formally rather than frankly, it can be cause the distance between God and me. The prayers of David, Job, Moses, Elijah, Paul in Bible are sympathetic to God and widely cited even in modern, the biggest reason of it is that their prayers were straightforward and honest. This work contains the content of speak out to God in honest prayer about myself and the world in pain. It is composed of a total 6 parts and in parts of the prayer of karis1-4 are expressed personal suffering through prayer and parts of the prayer of karis5-6 are expressed children who are suffering by poverty, violence, labor, war&etc through intercessory prayer. Contents of the prayer of karis2 is as belows.
Dear Lord,
I believe you make all the sufferings go away, lead us on the path of light and blessing. Help me to believe that your blessings will come in all things, your grace that all things are proceeding prosperously comes. Please allow me to believe and thanks that you have amazing plans for me, guide my steps, want to help me more than my plan, with greater aspirations for me, more abundant you help me to live. Since I believe you live in me and lead me into light, I no longer envy or compare others,  I'll just live by myself. Even if the world turns away me, blocks my path, I will only believe you, go ahead and challenge continually. Let today be a day that challenges my limits.  Give me a day that transcends the limits of my abilities. Give me a heart that will not yield to a sense of defeat and allow me to move forward with an open mind to change, give me a dream that no one has ever dreamed. I believe that you always have a better plan. I don't know how, but please let me trust and rely on you, who have all the ways. Give me courage and revive my passion. Please don't let me succumb to despair and discouragement any longer, give me confidence that you'll get it all done in time. Please hold onto my heart so that my life will not be fall in a sense of defeat. Don't let me live in my narrow frame, do let me expand my territory. Please give me confidence that your transcendent work will happen today too, you will make it a miracle day. It's never too late to take on a new challenge. Help me to believe that today is the best time to take on a new challenge. Please come in my life and end all despairs, make a miracle so that all things can prosper. I believe in you will bear fruit hundred times, so let me plant as seeds of good thoughts, help me sow the seeds of great faith, please guide my steps to the place of blessing today. Heal my heart broken by failure and frustration, give me the courage and passion to stand up again, let me forget all the memories of the past that have frustrated me, help me to look only to the Lord who will give me a chance, give me a miracle, above all else, be with me. Let suffering disappear like the wind, don't let my tears flow anymore, don't let myself fall into self-pity, give me the confidence that the mighty Lord will be done the aboves, is with me forever. Please don't let me live in resentment against the Lord and the world. Now the strong Lord lives in me, the bold Lord lives in me, please fill my heart with Jesus. Please open the gate of heaven, give me the abundant love of the Lord and fill my soul with overflowing grace of the Lord. All these prayers,
