"Trame" è un’opera fotografica che nasce dall’incontro tra la precisione dello scatto e la gestualità della manipolazione manuale. L’immagine di un albero spoglio, immerso in una trama intricata di rami e colori, viene trasformata attraverso l’uso di acidi acrilici e incisioni che ne alterano la superficie, creando effetti di luce, profondità e movimento. I colori si intrecciano in sfumature vivaci e iridescenti, mentre le incisioni aggiungono una dimensione tattile e materica, invitando l’osservatore a esplorare ogni dettaglio.
Il tutto è infine ricoperto da uno strato di cera, che dona all’opera una velatura morbida e protettiva, amplificando il senso di mistero e sospensione. "Trame" racconta la complessità della natura e delle emozioni umane, intrecciando realtà e immaginazione in una composizione che invita a perdersi tra i suoi molteplici livelli visivi e sensoriali.

"Trame" is a photographic work born from the encounter between the precision of the shot and the gesture of manual manipulation. The image of a bare tree, immersed in an intricate weave of branches and colors, is transformed through the use of acrylic acids and engravings that alter its surface, creating effects of light, depth, and movement. Colors intertwine in vibrant and iridescent shades, while the engravings add a tactile and material dimension, inviting the viewer to explore every detail.
The entire piece is finally covered with a layer of wax, which gives the work a soft and protective veil, amplifying its sense of mystery and suspension. "Trame" tells the story of the complexity of nature and human emotions, weaving together reality and imagination in a composition that invites you to lose yourself among its multiple visual and sensory layers.

Serena Marzari is a visual artist born in Rovereto, Northern Italy, in 1979. After graduating from the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna—where she lived for over ten years—she returned to her native Trentino, where she now works as both an artist and graphic designer. Her multidisciplinary practice spans photography, painting, and sculpture, combining techniques and media to explore the relationship between nature and human identity. Her work reflects on the self as "other", observing it within a fluid and ever-changing reality where body and landscape become spaces of transformation and contemplation. Each work is the fruit of a deep and sensitive listening, where the artist lets himself be guided by the subject to bring to light hidden aspects and imaginative suggestions. Art and nature merge to give the viewer an amplified experience of beauty, a deep spiritual connection with the environment.
