My creative inspiration for this work was a departure from my past understanding of animal sculptures. In the past, I was more inclined to capture the lifelike details of animals. However, this time, I aimed to break free from the constraints of realism and explore the intersection of modernity and nature. I wanted to create a piece that not only paid homage to the leopard's natural beauty but also reflected the urban environment in which it now exists, if only in our imaginations.
The theme of "Leopard" revolves around the fusion of tradition and modernity, nature and the city. It's a visual exploration of how the essence of the wild can coexist with the man - made world. When I showcased this sculpture in different cities, the reactions from the audience varied greatly. In some bustling metropolises, the sculpture was seen as a reminder of the lost connection with nature, sparking a sense of longing and reflection. In more art - centric cities, viewers were fascinated by the innovative use of materials and the abstract form, seeing it as a bold statement in the realm of modern art.

Sebastian Novaky, a contemporary German Pop artist born in 1986 in Düsseldorf, is renowned for his unique approach to sculpture. After studying at the National School of Fine Arts, he embarked on a journey that would redefine the boundaries of modern art.
Influenced by luminaries like Jeff Koons, Takashi Murakami, and Robert Indiana, Novaky operates under the signature "New Wild" ethos. This philosophy is not just an artistic style but a way of life that seeks to transform negative impulses into positive emotions. His works, predominantly crafted from industrial materials such as resin, stainless - steel, corten steel, marble, and bronze, are a testament to his ability to blend the mundane with the extraordinary.
Novaky's favorite subjects, including monumental and decorative animals like lions, dragons, and black panthers, are rendered as polished, monochromatic totems. These sculptures are not mere representations but rather reflections of the more instinctive and impulsive aspects of human nature, refined through the pursuit of perfection.
Since 2014, he has been ranked among the top 10 best - selling modern artists in the world by Art Price, a testament to his global appeal. His works have graced numerous prestigious institutions and art fairs worldwide, including the Art Elysées, Art Paris, Artiferia in Bologna, INCEPTION Gallery, and Opera Gallery.
Novaky's sculptural style is a masterful blend of figurative art with a distinct, almost imperceptible sense of high fashion. His talent, skill, and lifelong dedication are evident in every piece, as he effortlessly combines vivacious energy with a jewel - like attention to detail, creating instantly recognizable works of art that are both beautiful collectibles and loving modern decorations. In his art, he encapsulates the beauty and wonder of his subjects, inviting viewers to see the world through his extraordinary eye.
