This drawing was born from a simple but visually powerful intuition: what if words were a liquid? What if we could pour them, drink them, feel their weight?
I imagined a cup filled not with coffee, but with language, with identity, with everything that nourishes us without being matter. From here this pencil composition was born, where the graphic line and the chiaroscuro intertwine with typographic elements that become physical, almost three-dimensional.
The letters flow from the moka like a hot fluid, they deform, they adapt to the container, evoking that idea of ​​a living, mutable language, that changes shape just like a liquid. They are not simple words: they are symbols, reminders, references. Some linked to the world of motorcycles, others to urban culture, to the sense of belonging and freedom.
I wanted to play on the boundary between what is readable and what is imagined. Some words emerge clearly, others blend together, creating a visual flow that can only be intuited, as often happens in thoughts or dreams.
Technically I chose the pencil for its ductility and its ability to evoke atmosphere. The light nuance of the steam, the shiny contrast of the ceramic, the hardness of the metal: each element is designed to support the ambiguity between real and conceptual.
This work represents for me a meeting point between two passions: the word and the image, the motorbike and the coffee, culture and instinct. It is a small exercise in daily surrealism, but also a way to fix something intangible on paper: the energy of ideas.
