Sara Safaei is a visual artist born in 1982 in Tehran, Iran. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from Tehran University of Applied Sciences. With a deep passion for teaching, Sara spent nearly 10 years educating children and teenagers in painting and design. In 2011, she held a group exhibition at Ivan Gallery in Tehran. Sara’s artistic practice is rooted in minimalism, where she explores the beauty of geometric shapes, simple lines, and a restrained color palette. Her work reflects a deep connection between the internal and external worlds, embodying the belief that simplicity fosters deeper communication and self-expression. Through her art, she captures the subtle emotions and interactions between people, conveying them on canvas through minimalist forms and colors. Sara’s work suggests that as people grow older, they often become simpler, reflecting the purity and clarity of the world around them.
