I live in North East England, where I paint and make prints. Having studied art in London in the 1980s I still like to experiment with different media, though over recent years my focus has been on landscape oil paintings.
My surroundings are my inspiration, I work close to home. I particularly enjoy painting my local landscape and garden, showing the weather and season. I am currently creating a series of paintings inspired by rail travel in Northern England.
I have exhibited my work in the UK, holding both solo and group exhibitions. My work is in several local galleries and online platforms where it sells internationally.
Several of my artworks have been purchased by interior designers for luxury houses across the UK, as seen on tv, raising funds for major charities.
