The artwork has been finished with a gloss varnish to protect against UV and dust. The painting continues to the edges of the canvas 2.5cm (1.0").
"Spring Carnival" is a celebration of the joys of spring. This piece came together through a process of layering shapes and forms that felt both structured and playful. Arcs, curved vessels, and floral suggestions emerged naturally as I built the composition. The color palette of pinks, yellows, teals and purples reflect the positivity of spring as I experience it - hopeful, open and full of possibility.

Samantha Malone (born 1978) is an Australian/Israeli artist currently based in Tel Aviv. Her work is inspired by geometric abstraction, cubism, and the dynamic interplay between order and chaos. Her paintings are characterized by dynamic compositions, vibrant colors and layered patterns. Through her work, she reflects on themes of fragmentation and interconnectedness, illustrating how distinct elements can coexist to create a visually compelling narrative.
Working primarily with acrylic paint, Samantha employs a mixed-media approach that includes markers, pencils, and oil sticks to create depth and texture.
