The artwork has been finished and sealed with a gloss varnish to protect against UV and dust.
The artwork was painted on un-stretched Italian cotton canvas, with a 6 cm border left for stretching onto a canvas frame. This artwork is shipped rolled in a tube for safe international delivery and can be affordably stretched at your local framing store.
"The Unsolved Puzzle" came together in a process of intuition and discovery. As I painted, each color, shape, and line found its place, creating a sense of movement and balance that feels both natural and spontaneous. Deep blues, warm oranges, and rich purples interact, forming connections that seem familiar yet remain open to interpretation. This piece holds an energy that keeps evolving, sometimes playful, sometimes structured, always inviting a closer look. This extra large artwork will add a bold and lively statement into any space.

Samantha Malone (born 1978) is an Australian/Israeli artist currently based in Tel Aviv. Her work is inspired by geometric abstraction, cubism, and the dynamic interplay between order and chaos. Her paintings are characterized by dynamic compositions, vibrant colors and layered patterns. Through her work, she reflects on themes of fragmentation and interconnectedness, illustrating how distinct elements can coexist to create a visually compelling narrative.
Working primarily with acrylic paint, Samantha employs a mixed-media approach that includes markers, pencils, and oil sticks to create depth and texture. Her process involves layering colors and patterns, sometimes scraping back layers to reveal hidden hues beneath. This technique encourages viewers to engage more deeply with the composition. The interplay of bold shapes, organic forms, and vibrant colors invites a sense of movement and emotion, along with an element of playfulness.
Samantha has exhibited internationally, including participation in the prestigious 2023 London Art Biennale. Her works can be found in private collections across Europe, the UK, North America, Australia, and Israel.
