"Feel the Rush" came from that restless energy that builds when I haven’t painted in a few days. I started with a structured, geometric base but I wanted to be more expressive. I needed to move. So I pushed, scraped, scribbled, and layered without hesitation. What emerged was raw and instinctive, a response to the urge to create something alive, fast, and full of feeling. Samantha Malone (born 1978) is an Australian/Israeli artist currently based in Tel Aviv. Her work is inspired by geometric abstraction, cubism, and the dynamic interplay between order and chaos. Her paintings are characterized by dynamic compositions, vibrant colors and layered patterns. Through her work, she reflects on themes of fragmentation and interconnectedness, illustrating how distinct elements can coexist to create a visually compelling narrative.

Working primarily with acrylic paint, Samantha employs a mixed-media approach that includes markers, pencils, and oil sticks to create depth and texture. Her process involves layering colors and patterns, sometimes scraping back layers to reveal hidden hues beneath. This technique encourages viewers to engage more deeply with the composition.
