Artiste autodidacte, Jean-Pierre ALLANO est né en 1957 en Normandie. Deuxième fils d'une fratrie qui en compte quatre, il ressent, dès son plus jeune âge, une connexion profonde avec le monde de la créativité, guidé par une curiosité artistique et un sens aigu de l'observation contemplative qui allaient façonner sa vie.
Grand nomade, il parcourt, dès vingt ans, de nombreux territoires en France, faisant tous les métiers, s'installant tour à tour dans les Alpes du sud, puis en Provence, de Sisteron aux Martigues, puis Sète.
A Sète, tout en travaillant comme projectionniste aux salles de cinéma, il suit des cours libres à l'école des Beaux-Arts. Puis s'installant à Montpellier, il développe une itinérance cinématographique sur grand écran de plein-air et pellicule argentique au format 35mm, alliant sites remarquables et films du Patrimoine.
L'univers artistique de Jean-Pierre ALLANO se caractérise par une fusion audacieuse d'art abstrait et d'art brut. Ses créations visuelles transcendent les limites traditionnelles, capturant des émotions brutes et des paysages mentaux à travers des jeux de formes, de teintes toutes issues des trois couleurs primaires et la recherche constante de ce qu'il appelle en souriant le gris du chaos.
Au fil des années, Jean-Pierre ALLANO développe une signature artistique reconnaissable : le visage en deux traits et deux lèvres.
Dans ses itinérances photographiques, son autre attrait, il poursuit inlassablement ses recherches de visages telles les pareidolies, à savoir ses étonnantes "pierres-visages" qu'il photographie sur les sentiers de randonnées partout en Occitanie.
Aujourd'hui, Jean-Pierre ALLANO vit entre Montpellier, Sète et le Rouergue Aveyronnais. Il continue d'explorer de nouvelles frontières artistiques, défiant les normes pour créer un héritage visuel qui inspire et questionne.
A travers son art, il offre au monde une invitation à la contemplation et à la découverte constante.
