En proposant mes œuvres, je ne recherche pas le profit ; j’espère récupérer une partie du coût de la pratique de ma passion afin d’en poursuivre l’étude et l’apprentissage.
Dès l’adolescence j’aimais modeler, créer des objets tels que masques, poupées, sujets divers, les voir prendre forme sous mes doigts, leur donner corps et expression, traduire un sentiment et insuffler vie à un mouvement.
J’aimais déjà aussi dessiner, tracer des traits, des courbes, j’adorais entrevoir l’alchimie du mélange de couleurs, imaginer des figures, représenter un décor, une idée, une chimère.
La vie et ses aléas ne m’ont pas accordé l’espace pour assouvir ma passion ; je m’étais promis qu’une fois à la retraite, je reprendrais crayons, tubes de couleur et pinceaux, je redécouvrirais ce plaisir, je verrais ce que maturité et instinct apporteraient à une aptitude enfin mise à l’épreuve.
Mission accomplie : me voilà artiste peintre amateure ;
Ce que j’aime c’est voir la toile changer sous mes yeux au fur et à mesure que ma démarche se matérialise ; j’aime m’inspirer de l’impressionnisme et son réalisme autant que m’aventurer vers l’abstrait voire flirter avec le mode surréaliste.
On dit de ma peinture qu’elle est joyeuse ; tout moi quoi !
