Je privilégie le réalisme graphique mais j'y associe toujours des couleurs vibrantes et intenses. Mes réalisations sont pensées afin qu'elles induisent chez le spectateur une certaine harmonie voir du bien-être. Le tableau doit d'être énergisant, régénérant, et si un violet intense accompagne un jaune doré, c'est rarement un hasard.
Mais tout ceci ne peut se faire dans la précipitation, ainsi ma technique picturale est traditionnelle, éprouvée, patiente et progressive. Chaque couche se superpose à la précédente au file des séances. Les problèmes insolubles de la veille trouveront leur résolution dans la séance qui suivra. Cette pause entre 2 couches est autant contrainte qu'indispensable, on passe et on repasse devant sa toile, c'est le moment qui permet la prise de recul, on corrige, on rectifie mentalement afin de préparer la séance qui viendra.
20 heures en moyenne me sont nécessaires pour achever un tableau afin d'atteindre un certain réalisme sans jamais tomber dans le maniérisme froid. Car les quelques floutés, hachures et autres coups de pinceaux apportent tellement d'énergie et de chaleur au tableau que je les conserve tout le long du processus pictural.
