The main character of the black-and — white collection is lines. Look at their expressive application on the canvas: they are not static canvases at all. By changing the tone and thickness, the lines create space. It becomes like an ether, an all-pervading medium, suspended in the great nothingness. Look closely: because of the direction of the lines and the abstract spheres they create, there is a sense of constant movement. A little more and you will hear a soft hum coming from these balls of energy.
The shadow becomes a great companion: it not only visually supports the line, but also creates a depth of space. Thanks to this effect, the viewer inadvertently has a guess that this is not an abstraction at all, but the existing reality of the artist, who acted as a guide and showed a particle of his reality.
The complementary color palette only sets the accents: the difference between the emptiness and deathly pallor of the canvas and the restless, but so lively line.
