⠀
The work has its history, which often accompanies us through time. Thees is a child's perception of the New Year.
⠀
The cat sits and looks at the Christmas tree, which in those years always seems very large. Lighting the garland has always been fascinating. The boot the cat prepared reminds of how they were waiting for the appearance of gifts under the tree.
⠀
I remember one time I came to work with a suitcase on December 31st after lunch I went to the airport. By five o'clock I flew to Prague. On New Year's Eve, I stopped at the Old Town Square, next to the clock. ⠀
As usual, I went out to eat and returned to sleep. At 11 pm I went to the square to drink some boiled wine and look at these hours in 🕛
⠀
Going out into the street, after 10 minutes it started to snow, just like they show in the movies. There were a lot of people it passed with a wave of joy, so we are all such adults and do not believe in Santa Claus. ⠀
But as soon as something happens, it responds in us with childish tenderness. ⠀
⠀
Whoever says anything, New Year is a beautiful holiday with its fabulous decorations. ⠀
⠀⠀
I know that many have their traditions of how and where to spend this holiday.
This peace has a distinct texture, on high-quality linen canvas wrapped around the wooden frame, doesn’t need framing. Was finished a good layer of semi-gloss varnish for bright colours and clear permanent protection for years. Comes ready to hang.

My name is Marina Deryagina (nickname RozMarin). I am a full-time artist, who can't imagine a day without painting. I live and create in Moscow in my own small studio. I'm a member of the Eurasian Art Union.
I work with oil on high-quality linen canvases, use brushes and a palette knife. I like to create a series of works with a common theme, each of them includes about 20 artworks. This year I painted 4 series: two collections of miniatures «Antique Toys» and «Istanbul», painted with oil on structural carton on vacation and two larger size collections «Trees» and «still-Lifes».
Working with series helps me to express myself as an artist and keep the audience's attention by inviting them to a dialogue. It also makes me a hard-working artist who is inspired by what I see around me: people, feelings, animals and nature. All artworks are original and made in my technique.
