About Us
Roots Art Gallery is located in Vyttila, in scenic God’s Own Country, Kerala, India, in the historic city of Kochi. The Art, however, is not limited to this space, and we showcase the best in our gallery and deliver anywhere in the world.
Roots Art Gallery seeks to promote contemporary Indian Art and Artists.
Our Objectives are:
1. Provide a platform for young Artists to introduce their art, especially riding on the popularity attained by Kerala Artists in the International Art scenario.
2. Maintain a collection of Art by senior artists.
3. Showcase all types of Art:
Figurative, Abstract, Landscape, Portrait, Traditional Kerala Mural.
Other Art Services
1. Create replicas of Masterpiece works on demand.
2. Provide Art Consultancy for various projects – building or interiors, advertising, new product, etc.
Advanced Study of Serious Art
Our Curator and Senior Artist Sidharthan shall guide amateur and practising artists to complete their learning of serious art and establish their signature in Art.
Curator - Sidharthan K
With 30 years experience in Indian Art and various awards to his credit, Sidharthan is a senior Contemporary Indian artist recognised in the Indian Art scene. His active involvement in Art Education has helped him grow with Art over a period of 30 years. Sidharthan is a former Head of Department on Painting at Government RLV college of Fine Arts, Tripunithura.
