As being a part of The Natural Collection, the painting called Spinning in Circles / 90x90 / is inspired by another natural phenomenon, this time tropical cyclones that I use as a metaphor for human emotions and human behavior. Cyclone for me is s circle or a chain of emotions that is surrounding intense anxiety disorders, such as panic and anxiety attacks. It is not that much about being out of the balance, but it is rather about how the circle seems never-ending - explosion, frustration, confusion, blame, sorrow, anger etc.
The Natural Collection follows an idea of telling stories about a wide spectrum of human emotions, reactions and fluctuations being portrayed as natural disasters. The Collection tries to reflect the dynamics and intensity of both.
