Ramilia Siegfried is an artist from Finland, living in the suburbs of Helsinki. Starting at the age of five, she showed an interest in drawing. Ramilia attended a preparatory class at an art school for two years, followed by four years of study at the main art school. After acquiring basic drawing skills, she continued to sketch and paint for her own enjoyment as a hobby.
In 2022, she decided to take her art to a new, more serious level. This period became a time of experimentation with various techniques and materials, eventually settling on the use of textured paste, metallic mesh, clay, fabric, gypsum, complemented by elements of metal leafs, alcohol inks, and acrylic paints.
For Ramilia, art is not only a means of self-expression, but also a way to create a light and unique atmosphere. She enjoys combining opposites: roughness and tenderness, massiveness and lightness, tactile sensation and mystery. Deriving immense pleasure from the creative process and satisfaction from the result, her works give warmth and elegance to a space, making it more cozy and stylish.
