For this composition, I chose the role of the "dominant" to be played by the beautiful Czech, porcelain bowl (supnik), with inscribed light blue ornaments in the middle.

The "Porcelain Star" aims to attract the viewer in the first seconds and create a sense of hierarchy in the composition.

I also wanted to introduce some contrast to the shapes, so I chose the rectangular wooden board as part of the background behind.
It turned out interesting not only with the shapes, but also with the material: a round glossy soup bowl made of porcelain and a rectangular, matte board made of wood.

Hierarchy, emphasis, or outline clarity tells the human eye where to look initially.

Radosveta Zhelyazkova has been drawing since she was little. At the age of 6 she started attending drawing and painting lessons.
She received her professional arteducation at the Riachi Academy and the National Academy of Arts, Sofia.
The artist is inspired by the surrounding world, by her children, by social life. But most inspiring for her are the art works of the classical artists as well as the painting of some contemporary painters such as Michael Klein, Jeremy Lipkin, Colleen Barry.
Her family owns lands of lavender and sage. Radosveta often spends her time in the countryside around the farm. She is inspired by what she sees there. This is how she creates her landscapes of grass, meadows, lilacs and lilies, of seas of wheat and orchards of trees.
Her works are included in private and public collections around the world.
