Francisco Mibielli. Nasceu em Belo Horizonte, capital do Estado de Minas Gerais - Brasil, no ano de 1942.
Entrou na Escola de Belas Artes de Minas Gerais, estudou pintura com Mestre Guignard, escultura com Franz Weissmann.Experimentou também a atividade de cenarista e figurinista teatral, mas sempre atento aos ensinamentos de mestre Guignard.
Transferindo-se mais tarde para a Escola Nacional de Belas Artes do Rio de Janeiro,completando os seus estudos, filiou-se também á Sociedade Brasileira de Belas Artes, teve o privilégio de aperfeiçoar-se com mestres da grandeza de Portinari, Campofiorito e Teruz.
Vive atualmente na ilha de Santa Catarina-Florianópolis. Há trinta anos Mibielli vem descobrindo formas, cores, luzes, sombras,vida,alegria. A fidelidade ao belo, razão de ser de todo o seu vibrante trabalho de artista universalizado na ilha.
