Adepte du lâcher-prise, j'aime me surprendre et surprendre les autres. Spontanément j'évoque une forme de transversalité entre les arts, de pont entre les disciplines. Mes tableaux empruntent aussi bien au jazz qu'à la poésie et s'épanouissent dans une symphonie de couleurs. Cette approche particulière donne lieu à des créations variées, colorées, où le premier jet détermine le rendu final. Pour éviter les redites j'utilise différentes techniques, principalement la peinture acrylique et les aquarelles, qui correspondent le mieux à mon inspiration furtive. Je ne délaisse pas les autres techniques pour autant, notamment les pastels gras ou secs, les encres, les stylos feutres, et de temps en temps je réalise des compositions mixtes, sur toile ou sur papier.
La plupart de mes créations, depuis mes débuts, (il y aune trentaine d'années), sont abstraites, mais j'aime aussi composer des tableaux figuratifs, scènes de vie, paysages, natures mortes, tout en laissant une grande part à l'improvisation.
Je n'ai, pour ainsi dire, pas de peintres, ou de mouvements artistiques, auxquels me rattacher. Je fais plutôt confiance à mon instinct et à mon intuition du moment.
J'expose principalement dans ma région mais je peux aussi faire visiter mon atelier qui se situe dans le Jura.
