le tout se mélange pour la conception de ses œuvres
qui sont régulièrement exposées depuis plus que dix ans
“Relier est mon affaire, mon champ artistique, ma manière de dire,
ma manière de faire, ma façon de penser.
Relier, comme lier, c'est faire un nœud pour ne pas oublier.
Je réunis, je rassemble la description de mes tentatives, de mes
échecs, je dépose ici mes aspirations, l'actualité, les arts, la langue,
la religion, l'histoire, la mythologie, la nature, la poésie,
le quotidien.
Ces reliures-colonnes conservent ma mémoire, range ma vie,
elles recueillent et protègent mes volumes, rouleaux peints,
mes écrits, mes compilations .
En déposant ces documents dans ces reliures-colonnes, j'ai le
sentiment d'effacer ma vie, elles me donnent ainsi le pouvoir
d'oublier et dans le même temps de l'euphoriser.
Tout l'objet de mon travail est de composer avec ma mélodie.
Toutes mes reliures sont modelées ainsi à partir de ce faire et
refaire de peinture et d'écriture, d'après mes lectures et mes essais.“ S.L.
