Je fais de la peinture depuis toute petite. Mes parents ont eu la brillante idée de m'acheter un chevalet en plastique quand j'avais 4 ans, et depuis je n'ai jamais arrêté de peindre.
Les cours de peinture à l'école m'ennuyaient, j'avais l'impression de ne jamais m'exprimer complètement, d'être emprisonnée dans un carcan. J'ai fugué d'un cours de peinture lorsque mon professeur nous a demandé de dessiner une poule en nature morte.
Je peins aujourd'hui en autodidacte et je suis mes émotions comme elles viennent. Je ne cherche pas particulièrement à faire passer un message, plutôt des émotions.
Il m'arrive d'avoir des flash et des images de tableaux que j'aimerais créer le soir avant d'aller dormir. Le matin quand je me réveille je n'ai qu'une hâte, m'y mettre par peur d'oublier ce que j'ai imaginé.
La peinture est pour moi un moyen d'extérioriser mes émotions et d'en faire vivre aux autres.
