Dariusz Piekut was born on November 10,1959 in Miączyn.

In 1979 he completed the Secondary School of Fine Arts in Zamość. From 1980 to 1984 he studied in the Institute of Art Education UMCS in Lublin. He obtained the diploma in prof. Danuta Kołwzan-Nowicka’s studio of lithography. At present he is engaged in graphics, drawing and painting. His works are in private collections both in the country and abroad/England,USA,Australia,Germany,Czech Republic,Belgium,Bulgaria/.
They are also in Museum in Lubaczów, the Center of Culture in Nowa Huta, the Centre of Culture in Hrubieszów, BWA in the Zamość’s Gallery and in The Museum in Bielsko- Biała. The Culture and Art Ministry scholar in 1997. He also takes part ,with many achievements , in competitions and art exhibitions on local, regional , national.Laureate the Honorary Certificate of the Highest Quality -Short List VII International Biennial of Drawing Pilsen 2010/Czech Republic/.
