Oksana Kochura: Contemporary Artist
Oksana Kochura is a talented contemporary artist hailing from Nakhodka, located in the south of the Russian Far East. This picturesque place on the shores of the Pacific Ocean, surrounded by wildlife and rare animals, has influenced her work.
From early childhood, the artist loved to draw a lot, which, she says, could have been predestined from the moment of birth. In 2023, she decided to radically change the direction of her work, and following the call of her heart and soul began to write author's works. This was a turning point that opened new horizons in her work.
In her works Oksana actively explores various techniques and materials, striving to accurately convey and diversify the forms of colors of the natural world and animals. She uses elements such as glass, crystals, potassium, plaster and acrylic. This allows her to create unique works of art, jewelry paintings.
Her work is characterized by several explorations:
Hyperrealism : striving for maximum realism of the image.
Impressionism : conveying instant impressions of nature and the world around us.
Pastel painting : the use of thick layers of paint to create textures.
Currently, Oksana is exploring the gamut of colors and their connections in abstract works, which allows her to delve into the harmony and interaction of colors.
The main goal of the artist's work is to enhance the perception of the surrounding world of living nature as it really is! She strives to show such nature, bright, with its own energy, soul and the right to an independent life among people.
