Nuha Moretz, a Yemeni- American artist based in Utah, traces her artistic journey back to her formative years in Tokyo, Japan, where her passion for art first took root. Despite her early aspirations, Nuha pursued an M.A. in International Studies as a Fulbright Scholar, dedicating herself to education reform and gender equity across continents. Her global experiences deepened her artistic perspective as she engaged with local artists, refining her skills and fostering meaningful connections.

Nuha’s art focuses on contemporary abstract pieces that capture nature in its simplest form and abstract collages. Through her creations, Nuha aims to evoke a profound appreciation for the intricate harmony between humanity and nature, celebrating the profound beauty found in our surroundings. Her work has garnered recognition in numerous exhibitions and art fairs, captivating audiences worldwide. Nuha Moretz’s art fosters global connections, inspiring universal appreciation for nature.

Art for me is a channel of communication, drawing inspiration from my travels and nature. Sometimes it expresses what words cannot, inspired by colors or patterns I aim to capture. Through themes in my art, I showcase beauty while conveying deeper messages and emotions. I invite viewers to pause, reflect on topics or memories, connecting emotionally.

My process is free and fluid, using varied techniques like layering and texture building with brushes, rollers, and unconventional tools. The freedom that abstract art provides as an artist is liberating.
