Daniel Moline is een hedendaagse Belgische schilder. Moline is een schilder van grote composities, met imposante figuren in een sterk grafische stijl, waaruit energie, vitaliteit en een zeker geweld voortkomen. Hun geweld, dat zowel tederheid als wreedheid uitdrukt, gaat altijd gepaard met een discrete tederheid en welwillendheid als terughoudendheid ten opzichte van het leven. Er zijn gemeenschappelijke kenmerken met de kalligrafie van zenmonniken en het werk van de Japanse schilder Shôhaku.
Sinds 1990 werkt hij aan grote abstracte composities in zwarte inkt op witte achtergronden, "Gutta", reeksen vlekken en verschillende sporen waaruit de toeschouwer de betekenis construeert die bij hem past of die hem behaagt. Momenteel werkt hij (sinds 2010) aan grote portretten in barnsteen op een zwarte achtergrond, verdrietige herinneringen aan Japan of duistere wezens die hij tegenkwam na zijn terugkeer in België.
Daniel Moline werd geboren in 1948 in België. Hij nam deel aan verschillende tentoonstellingen in binnen- en buitenland en in Japan, waar hij zestien jaar doorbracht.
