Licia Trobia, scultore pittore artista misto, è nato il 3 novembre 1975, in Sicilia. Figlia dell'arma, nasce con l'arte nell'anima . Appassionata anche di medicina. Frequenta l'istituto d'Arte e l'Accademia di Belle Arti e dedica poi gran parte della sua vita ad una branca della medicina. Ma l'Arte, lei , non l'abbandona mai...Le sue opere mostrano curve e linee ma anche colori di purezza senza pari. Appassionata di artisti del movimento per l'arte moderna, in particolare dell'estetica, si riferisce ad esso per tutte le sue creazioni. Le sue preoccupazioni umanistiche e la sua vita non facile la portano naturalmente ad affrontare temi come la vita, l'amore, i sentimenti umani, il tempo,il nudo, la natura e gli elementi. Tiene cicatrici più o meno crude dai lutti e dalle separazioni della sua infanzia e adolescenza. Troviamo nelle sue opere tutte le nozioni di vuoto dell'esistenza, di disordine psicologico ma anche di pienezza, di niente e di tutto, di contenuto e contenitore.Ha realizzato le sue prime opere utilizzando la tempera. Parte da disegni confusi, astratti. Poi si diletta ad un'arte piu realistica, quando si esprime con soggetti umani e con l'amore. Ha scelto la pittura, la decorazione pittorica all'inizio , un'area che lo ha particolarmente interessato, ma poi quasi per gioco , ha iniziato a scolpire, a creare oggetti, oltre che a rappresentarli con tocchi di pennello o in minuziosi lavori. La peculiarita' della sua arte sta nel fatto di essere indefinita; non e' pittore ne' scultore; ma e' pittore e scultore; modella, crea dipinge, senza mai lasciarsi al nulla.............
