Frank Wichmann is een fotograaf die kleur gebruikt om structuren te creëren en emoties op te roepen. In dromen gaat de realiteit verloren. Zoek naar details, ook al is het moeilijk. Hij komt met nieuwe ideeën en projecten. Maar altijd vrij van beperkingen! Zijn werk is abstract, impressionistisch en expressief. Hij is vrij om kunst te maken in de stijl die hij verkiest.
Zijn werk onderscheidt zich door nieuwe en visionaire kleurrijke verlichting, die zich richt op stadsgezichten, bloemen en urbex-thema's.
Frank Wichmann is een autodidact kunstenaar die opgroeide in Neu Darchau aan de Elbe en werd geboren op 19 januari 1963 in Dannenberg (Lüchow-Dannenberg). Hij verhuisde naar Stuttgart en vervolgens naar Gerlingen, toen hij tien jaar oud was. Sinds 2006 woont en werkt hij in Magstadt. In oktober 2021 heeft hij deelgenomen aan de SPC Photo Awards Stuttgart, Galerie Strzelski.
