Bereits in seiner Jugend, die er in Italien verbrachte, suchte er oft Zuflucht in der Malerei. Diese war und ist für ihn sein Lebenselixier. Felice Mauro Battiston ist Elektroingenieur und Doktor der Physik und war jahrzehntelang in seinem Beruf tätig. In seiner Freizeit pflegte er seine Malerei als Hobby und liess sich von Künstlern verschiedener Stilrichtungen inspirieren. Aus gesundheitlichen Gründen musste er seinen Beruf aufgeben. Seither kann er seine Zeit wieder seiner grossen Leidenschaft widmen. Die Malerei und das Eintauchen in Farben und Formen sind für Ihn Transzendenz, Zeitlosigkeit und Flow. Ihn interessiert das Spiel zwischen fast fotorealistischer Malerei und atmosphärischen Stimmungen.
