Over de auteur
Na rechten te hebben gestudeerd en tegelijkertijd als theatermanager te hebben gewerkt, begon Marcel Nakache in beeld te werken in Parijs als assistent van tal van regisseurs en fotografen. Hij stapte geleidelijk over op het maken van films (zijn primaire doel) terwijl hij foto's bleef maken. Hij regisseert tal van commercials, in Frankrijk en in het buitenland, korte films, documentaires en reportages voor televisie, evenals tal van films in opdracht voor grote accounts. In de jaren 90 creëerde hij Sam Play Production (films) waarmee hij tot 2001 werkte als regisseur-producent.
In 2002, wederom als freelancer, reist en tekent hij veel reclamespots in het buitenland. (Duitsland, Marokko, Italië)
In 2005 richtte hij een nieuw bedrijf op, Vidéograph.com, dat zich uitstrekt over filmproductie en internet. Dit bedrijf is ontstaan uit een verlangen naar multimediacreatie na een passage door de Gobelins-school in Parijs.
Vanaf 2007 wijdde hij zich aan een fotoserie, sterk geïnspireerd door de cinema, "Fictions_Assemblages". Hij wisselt Clips, documentaires, webcreaties, fotografie en multimedia af. Hij exposeert regelmatig zijn stilstaande beelden in Frankrijk en in het buitenland.
In 2004/2005 sloot hij zich aan bij de groep kunstenaars van de Dima Gallery onder leiding van Patrick Haziot in de Marais in Parijs.
Toen in 2009 Galerie Menouar onder leiding van Rabia Menouar nog in de Marais in Parijs. Hij had het genoegen om vele malen in deze twee galerijen te exposeren.
Hij heeft deelgenomen aan tal van groepstentoonstellingen in de galerie Ma Kolett Paris in het 8e arrondissement. Tegelijkertijd neemt hij deel aan tal van beurzen voor hedendaagse kunst, zowel in Frankrijk als in het buitenland, en aan veilingen in Parijs.
